How to convert DVD to VCD and burn it to CD-R with Nero?
Use Magic DVD Ripper to convert your DVD movie to VCD.
1. Launch Magic DVD Ripper and click the Convert tab.
2. Insert your DVD into your DVD-ROM drive.
3. Choose Audio and Subtitle if necessary.
4. Choose "Video CD (VCD/MPEG1)" from the Type dropdown list
5. Choose appropriate Split mode if necessary.
6. Press the "Start" button to start ripping.
Use Nero to burn it to a CD-R disc.
Launch Nero, and when the new compilation window comes up select CD from the dropdown list, then select "Video CD":
Press the New button. Then you'll be presented with 2 windows, on the left you'll see the compilation, on the right you'll see a file browser much like windows explorer. Drag and drop the output files (.mpg) of your destination folder on the hard disk to the compilation window as shown below.
then press the burn button, select the write speed and press the write button to start burning.
Use Magic DVD Ripper to convert your DVD movie to VCD.
Use Nero to burn it to a CD-R disc.
